Yes. Coating the film adds hydrophobic behaviour and makes it easier to clean, without preventing the film from healing light marks.
Usually not. Most owners get the best value from a front-end package covering bumper, bonnet leading edge, wings and mirrors, extended to other high-impact areas if needed.

Durability depends on the coating specified, how the vehicle is used and how it is maintained. Multi-year performance is realistic with correct aftercare.
No. A coating is extremely thin and chemically resistant, not impact resistant. Physical protection comes from paint protection film.
Yes, using a safe hand wash method. Avoid brush-based automatic washes — they reintroduce swirl marks regardless of coating.
PAINT CORRECTION QUESTIONS
The controlled removal of a microscopic amount of clear coat to level defects such as swirl marks and light scratches, so light reflects cleanly instead of scattering.
No. If a scratch catches a fingernail it usually extends beyond the safe polishing range. We improve what can be improved safely and tell you what cannot.
When paint depth is measured and a test section is used, yes. Risk comes from aggressive polishing without measurement.
